Copyright and Takedown Policy
KLYRE respects the rights of creators. Our programs are original or built from public-domain material, and we don't knowingly use anyone else's protected work. If you believe something on klyre.tv or our YouTube channel infringes your copyright, tell us and we'll look at it promptly.
Reporting infringement
Under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The copyrighted work you believe is infringed (or, for several works, a representative list).
- The material you believe infringes it, with enough detail for us to find it: a link to the page, or the show, episode and time it aired.
- Your name, mailing address, phone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them.

What happens next
When we receive a complete notice, we remove or disable the material, stop it from re-airing, and let the person who submitted it know if it came from a viewer submission. Videos on YouTube can also be reported through YouTube's own copyright tools.
Counter-notices
If material you submitted was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, you can send a counter-notice to the agent above. Include your signature, the material that was removed and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address and phone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, outside the U.S., any judicial district where Orpheus Media LLC may be found) and to accept service from the person who sent the original notice. We may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the claimant tells us they have filed a court action.
Repeat infringers
We stop accepting submissions from anyone who repeatedly sends material that infringes others' rights.
Public domain
Myths, folklore, historical events and works whose copyright has expired belong to everyone. A notice about public-domain material may not be acted on, but we'll always read it and reply.
