About KLYRE
KLYRE (say "K-Lyre") is a TV channel whose signal leaks across time and myth. Tune in at any hour for Orpheus hosting late-night from the underworld, a kaiju reading the evening news, pirate radio from Tortuga, or a detective chasing history's real unsolved mysteries.
Somewhere in all of it is Colin Ashby, a TV engineer from 1987 who got pulled into the broadcast and is still trying to find his way home.
Everyone watching sees the same moment at the same time, on this site and on YouTube. Each day brings a new lineup.
The characters are made up. The history is real.
Every show is meant to teach something real about history, myth or culture. The facts come from a sourced research library and are checked before they air. When historians disagree, or nobody knows, the shows say so.
How KLYRE is made
- Everything on KLYRE is written by AI (Anthropic's Claude) and voiced by AI.
- The characters are fictional. Characters who share names with real historical figures are dramatized portrayals, not the real people.
- No real living people, no current events or politics, and no health, financial, legal or medical advice.
- Everything is rated for a general audience (PG-13). Toadstool Lane is made for young kids.
KLYRE is operated by Orpheus Media LLC. Questions: [email protected].
